Hey There Riders!
Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned distance rider, there is a place for you on this trip!
In 2022, we're fundraising to help Cal's Angels, a 501(c)(3) pediatric cancer foundation with a mission of granting wishes, raising awareness, and funding research to help kids fighting cancer. This ride also benefits the Batavia Bicycle Commission and other efforts to help make Batavia a bicycle friendly town!
Reserve your spot before July 31st for early bird pricing!

All About The Ride
In 2021, over 25 riders made the 62 mile ride from Batavia to Lake Geneva, and no one dropped out! What an impressive sight to see along the trail. We had rest stops, refreshments, and even a NIFB fundraiser along the way. The Fox River Ride to Lake Geneva (FRRLG) which we affectionately call the FROG started in 2018. We start in Batavia, home of many of the original riders, at about 7am and head north for about 62 miles. The first year we had 12 riders, last year we had 22 and in 2021, we had over 25.
The route is mostly path (crushed limestone or asphalt) with a few miles of rural roads in Wisconsin. Our first stop along the way is at the 20 mile mark and after that there is a designated stop about every 10 miles. All of the stops provide water, Gatorade, fruit and snacks. All but one stop has local establishments right at the stop to provide greater variety of food and “beverages” to purchase. We usually arrive in Lake Geneva at about 4pm and the bus arrives at 7pm. That gives everyone enough time have dinner and enjoy a little bit of Lake Geneva.
